International Postcard Week
October 2-8, 2022

I live on an island on the west coast of Canada.  This picture was taken on The Breakwater, and the docks right beside it (not pictured) is where the cruise ships are towed to by the tug boats, and where the tourists disembark to take a look around the City of Victoria.  As you can see, The Breakwater is a popular spot for both locals and tourists to walk, and take photos of the ocean.  My city has a large tourism industry so when the cruise ships were allowed to visit again after COVID-19, a lot of businesses were happy.

Take care,
Sara

Jakarta, 8 October 2022
Hi
It is my pleasure to know you and send this postcard in celebrating International Postcard Week 2022.  This picture of Harimau Sumatra (Sumatran tiger) I too in a safari zoo (Taman Safari in Bogor).  The Harimau Sumatra is an endangered animal and is found on Sumatra Island, which is one of the 5 biggest islands in Indonesia.  May you know that Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands.  I hope you can visit my country and explore its beautiful nature.  As an Indonesian, I have a wishlists of many places in Indonesia to visit.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

International Postcard Week
2nd - 9th October 2022

I have chosen this card, because together we are one whole over the whole world.
I work in a Plastics Factory and that's why I thought this was an appropriate design.

Pay attention to the minutes, then the hours will fit themselves. Life always gives you a second chance, called tomorrow.  Be grateful for what you have.  You don't want to know how many people there are who want want what you have.  It shows intelligence to oil the gears of friendship with sensitive politeness.  Enemies are cheap.  Friends, on the other hand, are priceless.

If you are not willing to face the dark, you will not be able to see the beautiful light.
You don't have to understand everything to know you are doing the right thing.  The road to success is always under construction.

Greetings from Marian Camara from Oisterwijk in
The Netherlands

Happy International Postcard Week!
October 2-8, 2022

Hello and Happy International Postcard Week 2022!

On the front are a few pictures from around our property over the past year.  We added a few more chickens this year and seven guinea hens!  We also expanded the garden a bit to include some fruit trees.

I look forward to seeing everyone's postcards this year,

Westminster Bible Church is an independent Bible church.  WBC officially began in March 1960 where they met at Thomas Chapel.  In 1967, construction at the present location was started and the new building was dedicated on April 7, 1968.  The original church was made up of believers who were seeking to faithfully follow God's will in all matters of life.  Holding that the Bible is the highest authority for human life they left the mainline denominations that they felt were drifting to a man centered structure and purpose. For this reason the church was set up to be non-denominational and to this day our by-laws state WBC will never be part of a denomination.

As a new resident of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, I am fascinated by the history of the town.  We live in a cemesto house built in 1943 to house workers at "the plant" where the atomic bomb was developed.  The entire city was built to support the Manhattan Project!  Oak Ridge is celebrating 80 years this year, and has become a vibrant small town.  We are within a 2 hour drive from Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga and the Smoky Mountains.  Eastern Tennessee is a beautiful area, I hope you can visit someday!

Happy International Postcard Day
October 1st, 2022
Step out and send a postcard.

Today is the day that we send out small pieced of dead trees to the people that we love and in some cases total strangers who many not understand our love of those tree leaves with souls that tell us about the world.  But that is okay.  Because even if they don't understand the love of those corpses, they do understand our love for them.

May Many Beautiful Postcards Grace your Mailbox And Make You Smile.
